2015 Seattle Biz-Tech Summit - Seattle Startup Challenge & Showcase
After more than six months of preparation, the Seattle Entrepreneurship Club (SEC) and Seattle Biz-Tech Summit, for the first time, are co-hosting the Seattle Startup Challenge in the Summit. There will be a total of 15 startups from Seattle, Beijing and Silicon Valley, covering the areas such as Big Data, Cloud Computing, Smart Hardware, Mobile Internet, Internet Finance, and E-Commerce. Together with the top investors and incubator directors coming from both China and US, they will bring the audience a great startup event consisting of business plan competition and product demonstrations on Oct 24, 2015.
SEC has been serving the Seattle startup community since 2008 with a great dedication. Since then, the community has grown to more than 1000 entrepreneurs and professionals, with an ever-growing enthusiasm. By means of a series of entrepreneurship seminars, technical meetups, and startup pitches and demos, SEC has brought together more than 50 excellent startup teams and projects, and helped a couple of them successfully raise startup funds from the angel and venture capitals. SEC is working to build a Startup Funding Platform and better integrate with the local startup ecosystem, in order to lead the entrepreneurial activities in the community to a new stage.
The 15 startup teams for the startup challenge and showcase of the Summit will consist of:

Meanwhile, the Summit will set up a Demo Zone with 15 booths for them to demonstrate their products or prototypes, around the clock. The judge panel as well as the audience will then vote based on the performance of the teams.
