The Seattle Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge is a teenage entrepreneurial challenge competition hosted by the Seattle Entrepreneurship Club and the Little Masters Club, which will be held in Seattle on March 3, 2019. The Challenge aims to encourage young entrepreneurs to innovate and build platforms for youth entrepreneurs in North America.

What’s more，Seattle Entrepreneurship Club will also host a series of workshops before the submission deadline to help participants prepare for the competition.

Jeanie Zheng, VP of Engineering, GoDaddy, Inc
Jeanie serves as Vice President of Engineering at GoDaddy, Inc. where she leads the Content, Search, and Merchandising Platform and the White Label Reseller Platform teams. She also serves on the Advisory Board of KeyoCoin, a technology startup using Blockchain to solve reward system inefficiencies and fragmentation for customers in travel.
Jeanie also held engineering leadership roles at several companies including Expedia, Microsoft, Yahoo!, and IBM, etc. She has a long track record of leading high-performance engineering teams to success and has extensive experience in Cloud Services, e-commerce, Big Data and Analytics, and Distributed Systems. Jeanie holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a Bachelor’s degree with double majors in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Shanghai JiaoTong University.
Wei Fu, Director of Engineering, VMware Cloud Native
Wei Fu has been serving as Director of Engineering in Cloud Native at VMware since August 2017, leading one of the company’s top focal area supporting enterprise customers’ next-generation infrastructure/platform transformation via cloud technologies. She brings over 10 years of comprehensive experience in software architecture, design, coding and testing. Before then, Wei led the design and implementation of identity solutions for VMware’ flagship enterprise product – vSphere through multiple major releases.
Wei earned a doctor’s degree from Washington State University in 2007, her master and bachelor’s degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2002 and 1999, all in computer science. The first thing after graduation, she joined a small startup company aiming to rapidly build up versatile engineering skills. Since then, she has not only cultivated comprehensive engineering skills with growth mindset, but also advocates that technology need be pragmatic yet fearless solving genuine problems that indeed matter.
She strongly believes that agility is an attribute and perseverance is indispensable.
Justin Rogers, Software Engineering Director, Facebook
Justin Rogers is a software engineering director in Facebook’s AR/VR division focused on mobile standalone devices, Oculus Go and Oculus Quest.
His teams develop software that enable virtual desktop like experiences and hosting of 2D content in VR. He also leads the VR Web initiatives and helps set vision for Oculus Browser, the top app on the Oculus mobile platform.
Outside of work Justin is a startup investor and advisor who focuses on incubating startups from pre-investment through initial Seed rounds. He has past investments in Crema.co and current investments in Toybox, a 3D printer for kids.

Minda loves startups! She has been building new companies for more than two decades in areas such as eProcurement, retail ops technology, blockchain apps, and online media. Minda also advises early stage startups on business strategy and is CEO of a new startup in the home remodeling industry.
VP of Engineering, Azuqua
Kevin is the VP of Engineering at Azuqua Inc. As one of fastest growing startups in Seattle, Azuqua powers the future of work by connecting cloud applications and automating the business workflow. It is trusted by innovative companies such as Airbnb, Adobe, HubSpot, VMWare, Zendesk e.g. with their most critical business processes.
Prior to this role, Kevin was co-founder & CTO of social leadgen startup Socedo Inc. which was acquired by Azuqua in June 2018. Before co-founding Socedo, Kevin helped build a few enterprise products at Microsoft, including v1 SQL Reporting Services. As a community volunteer, Kevin mentors other new founders at Founder Institute and advises Seattle Enterpreneurship Club and UW Chinese Enterpreneurship Network.
Mentor holds a MBA from UW, M.S from University of Maryland, Peking University and a B.S. in Computer Science from Beijing Institute of Technology.
