The Seattle Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge(SYEC) sponsored by the Seattle Entrepreneurship Club(SEC) is in hot registration, in order to help students to participate in the competition, a series of Workshops are being held to comprehensively enhance the project execution ability, presentation ability and leadership ability of the participants. We hope that all students who participate in the SYEC and Workshop will gain valuable experience.
On Friday, we were fortunate enough to invite Ms. Dr. Emily Hu to the contest to bring a lecture on lectures and leadership.
In this SEC Workshop, Emily will bring the following topics to the students to help them prepare for the SYEC
- Public speaking skills
- How to prepare your Elevator Pitch
- Learn a 12-year-old app development Speaker's speech
If you want to cultivate your child's entrepreneurial and innovative thinking from an early age, develop your child's ability to find problems and solve problems, and develop your child's ability to communicate and lead, then sign up for this event and the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge!

The Northwest Youth Leadership Club (NWYLC) helps the youth to improve the SEDL ( Soft skills, Effective Communication, Debate, Leadership) overall skills and capability with the class systematic training. Emily has great passion to soft skills education and public speaking training, Entrepreneurship and Business Plan. Emily has more than 20 years of professional experience, Former Director Of Asia Pacific Business in Alcatel-L Ucent, Former Bell Labs CTO, Executive MBA, Ph.D of Electric Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology.
At the SEC workshop, Emily will teach the youth with the following topics to help them prepare the SEC competition:
